ueTHE DODGERS WIN THE WORLD SERIES! That was something heard all around the world after the Los Angeles Dodgers won the 2020 World Series but, that wasn’t what everyone was talking about. No. What everyone was talking about was Justin Turner who had to leave the final game of the series due to testing positive for Covid-19 and who come back out to celebrate with his team after they won. What I’m here to talk about is the aftereffects of this and what has happened since that final game.
Since that final game was played, the Dodgers have had nine people from the organization test positive for Covid-19. The big question is, will he be punished or the organization for their actions that night and the answer is no; the MLB announced Friday November 6th that they will be punishing no one for their actions after the world series victory. Turner has apologized for what he did and basically said he was just going to take a picture with his wife and once he got onto the field things got out of hand.
The whole situation was not a good one, especially for everyone involved, and a big part for making these terrible decisions were emotions. This article talks about emotions and how they can control how you think and act and make it feel like you’re on a whole new reality. You can see how emotions had a big impact on what happened that night. They had just won the world series, emotions were high, they were all very excited and I think it led to some poor decisions. I bet if they could change what happened they would!
