The professional golfer Eldrick “Tiger” Woods was recently involved in a car crash. The 45-year-old golfer suffered minor injuries and a investigation was put in place after the car crash—this recalled his previous misadventures. Woods is considered one of the greatest golfers of all time. He has built a very impressive record throughout his career and has achieved many great things such as 106 worldwide wins and 15 Majors wins placing him tied for first in that category.
Tiger Woods’ accident occurred on February 23rd and he was found trapped in his SUV. Woods was driving north on Hawthorne Boulevard in Los Angeles. According to forensic experts, the police “made decisions that were favourable” to Woods. The Los Angeles Police Department declared that they were not going to involve a drug-recognition expert. Forensic reporters also stated that Woods was speeding and lost control of his vehicle, which caused the crash since that road is known for speeding cars since the road goes downhill. Sheriff Lt. Michael White told reporters “I couldn’t tell you how many tickets in the past year, but we regularly cite people for speed on that section of Hawthorne Boulevard,”. On that day, Alex Villanueva who was the Sheriff that worked on the scene reported that there was no evidence that the athlete was impaired, and the incident was claimed as an accidental crash.

In the end, Tiger Woods was lucky to suffer only minor injuries after what seemed to be a brutal car crash. Woods broke his right leg fracturing both the tibia and fibula. The professional athlete is currently recovering at home from the hospital. It is unclear if Tiger will ever be the same, let alone be able to play golf again.
